Terms of Use

These Terms govern use of LogicHauler software, websites, accounts, support, and related services provided by LogicHauler LLC. By using the service, you agree to these Terms and the incorporated policies. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility and territory

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. The initial public launch territory is the United States. LogicHauler is a general-audience product and is not directed to children.

Accounts and responsibility

Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in methods, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account to the extent permitted by law. Account and device-link metadata do not give LogicHauler remote access to browse your local files or control your device.

The product boundary

LogicHauler performs supported workflows on user-selected or app-accessible files and locations. Feature results depend on file condition, permissions, device capabilities, available storage, supported formats, converter availability, and current validation checks. Receipts record technical workflow facts; they are not legal identity, ownership, or authenticity certificates. Recovery is available only for eligible operations while current checks pass and is not guaranteed.

Account, Teams, support, entitlement, billing-provider, update, and security services use network functions where required. See the Data and Local Processing Summary and Privacy Notice.

Plans, commerce, and providers

Public commerce is currently off. Product pages may describe planned Free, Personal Pro, Teams, Apple, Google Play, or direct billing paths without offering a current public purchase.

If a purchase channel is activated, the checkout or store will identify the seller, plan, price, duration, renewal terms, and provider authority. Apple and Google control their store purchase and subscription-management experiences. Prepared Stripe functions support direct subscription management and provider-event reconciliation. Cancellation, refund, and entitlement effects depend on the channel and applicable law. See the Billing, Cancellation, and Refund Policy.

Teams

Teams features can include organizations, members, roles, projects, checkpoints, invitations, seats, and shared workflow metadata. Organization owners and authorized administrators are responsible for membership decisions and lawful use. An owner may need to transfer or close an organization before deleting the owner's account.

Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. Do not use LogicHauler with files, devices, accounts, or networks you are not authorized to access. Do not bypass platform protections or use the service to violate law or another person's rights.

Software and intellectual property

LogicHauler and its original content are owned by LogicHauler LLC or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership. Third-party components remain subject to their licenses. Directly distributed desktop software is also subject to the Direct-Distribution Software License. Apple-distributed software uses the Apple Standard EULA rather than an unreviewed custom Apple license.

Support

Support is provided under the Support Policy. Priority Support is a qualitative service distinction, not a response-time or resolution-time guarantee. Do not send secrets, payment-card data, private file contents, or unnecessary personal information.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict service access when reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, security risk, fraud, nonpayment after commerce activation, material breach, provider requirements, or service integrity. We will use reasonable judgment and applicable notice requirements. You may stop using the service and may initiate account deletion as described in the Account Deletion policy.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, LogicHauler is provided on an as-available basis. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, compatibility with all systems, perfect conversion fidelity, that all damaged files can be repaired, that every operation can be recovered, or that every issue can be resolved. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Liability boundary

To the extent permitted by law, LogicHauler LLC is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Any limitation must be applied consistently with nonwaivable law. Users remain responsible for reviewing plans, maintaining appropriate backups, confirming outputs, and using authorized data.

Governing law and disputes

Florida law governs these Terms to the extent permitted, without overriding mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Before filing a formal claim, contact [email protected] with enough information to identify the issue without sending sensitive data. Forum, arbitration, class-action, and venue provisions are not imposed in this interim version and remain subject to counsel review.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the product or law changes. Material changes will receive notice when required and will use a new effective date.

Acceptable Use Policy

Use LogicHauler only with files, devices, accounts, storage locations, local networks, and organizations you are authorized to use.

You must not use LogicHauler to:

• Access another person's data or device without authority.
• Bypass operating-system, application, account, encryption, entitlement, store, or network protections.
• Introduce malware, disrupt a service, probe another user's data, or interfere with systems you do not own or have permission to test.
• Violate privacy, intellectual-property, contractual, export, consumer-protection, or other applicable rights or laws.
• Distribute unlawful content or facilitate fraud, harassment, exploitation, or abuse.
• Misrepresent a LogicHauler receipt, integrity result, File Doctor result, or workflow record as proof of legal ownership, identity, authenticity, or absence of malware.
• Circumvent plan or seat limits, provider purchase rules, or server-verified entitlement decisions.
• Send passwords, reset links, access tokens, private keys, pairing secrets, card numbers, private file contents, or raw sensitive logs through support channels.

LogicHauler does not grant broad access to protected mobile directories, other applications' private data, or an entire device. User-selected and app-accessible scope remains controlling.

We may restrict use when reasonably necessary to investigate a material violation or protect users and systems. Report abuse to [email protected]. Report suspected vulnerabilities separately to [email protected].

Direct-Distribution Software License

This license applies only to LogicHauler software distributed directly by LogicHauler LLC or through a channel that adopts this license. It does not replace a store license that controls a store download. In particular, an Apple App Store distribution uses the Apple Standard EULA unless approved metadata later states otherwise.

Subject to the Terms of Use and applicable purchase rights, LogicHauler LLC grants you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to install and use the applicable LogicHauler software on devices you own or control for personal or authorized organizational use.

You may not copy or distribute the software except as allowed by law or the distribution channel, sell or sublicense it, remove ownership notices, evade technical or entitlement controls, or reverse engineer it except to the limited extent a nonwaivable law permits. You must not use it to access data or devices without authority.

The software includes or works with third-party components governed by their own license terms and notices. Those terms are preserved in the Third-Party Notices and release component inventory.

Updates may change or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for compatibility, safety, legal obligations, or product development. This license ends when you materially breach it or no longer have a valid right to use the applicable distribution, subject to notice and cure rights required by law.

The disclaimers, liability boundary, governing law, support, privacy, and account provisions in the Terms of Use also apply to the extent permitted by law.

Third-Party Notices

LogicHauler includes open-source application dependencies and can use delivered managed converter packs. The release component and license inventory is maintained in docs/security/THIRD_PARTY_COMPONENTS.md; delivered converter-pack notice bundles remain authoritative for their exact versions and licenses.

Managed converter candidates include configured builds of FFmpeg, LibreOffice, and ImageMagick. A converter is available only when its delivered manifest, license metadata, and runtime integrity checks pass. A globally installed or PATH-discovered tool is not automatically a LogicHauler managed component.

LogicHauler also integrates, conditionally or when configured, with Supabase, Stripe, Apple, Google Play, Resend, and Cloudflare Turnstile. Those services are not relicensed as LogicHauler components. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their roles.

Third-party trademarks belong to their owners. No reference implies sponsorship or certification. Release operations must verify actual shipped versions, corresponding license texts, required attribution, source-offer obligations, and distribution terms before packaging a release.
