Transfer

Put this file on another device — and know how it arrived.

Choose the files, establish the supported destination, preserve the source, and keep success tied to the result the transfer workflow can prove.

The transfer path

File movement is only useful when the destination can be trusted.

LogicHauler treats selection, destination authority, copy progress, and result evidence as separate facts. A queued job is not a completed transfer.

  1. 01Select

    Choose the files

The job begins with explicit file selection, not background access to a device.

  2. 02Trust

    Confirm the receiver

Supported device workflows use pairing and receiver-approved destination authority before a transfer can proceed.

  3. 03Copy

    Keep the source

Selected files copy to the approved destination. Existing destination files are not silently replaced.

  4. 04Prove

    Read back the result

The supported workflow verifies completed destination data and separates verified, partial, and failed outcomes.

Result language

“Sent” is not the only state that matters.

Supported transfer receipts preserve the difference between intent, progress, incomplete work, and a verified result.

Prepared
The selection and destination are known; no success is implied.
In progress
The operation is still running and can still fail.
Partial
Completed and incomplete files remain distinguishable.
Verified
The workflow compared the completed destination with its source evidence.

Trust boundary

The operating system still decides what LogicHauler can reach.

Transfer acts only on chosen files and approved destinations. Completion is reported from verification and receipt state; source files remain preserved for copy workflows.

Desktop

Supported local and trusted-device workflows

Destination rules, collision checks, verification, and receipts follow the exact transfer path in use.

Mobile

Selected or user-granted scope

Android, iPhone, and iPad access remains limited to the files, folders, or app-visible data their supported picker flows expose.

After the copy

Keep the evidence with the file work.
